Morality, entitlement spending, and poverty

I find it ironic that the same people who go on at length about how we need to cut entitlement spending resist the most obvious measures to fix the problem from the other end. You can’t just tell people working at Wal-Mart to “get a job”; they have a job. And you can’t really tell them to get a better job, since in a lot of the country those better jobs were destroyed by… Wal-Mart. So Wal-Mart...
