So today I called my Representative, Ken Buck (R-CO) – a Tea Party Republican – to share my thoughts on the health care act. And of course my call goes to voice mail. I say “of course” because every time I call his office, it goes to voice mail, and I leave a message. But today I get a “mailbox full” message. I’m not quite sure what to make of this. Is this a “tired of hearing from constituents” move, or is there a flood of people calling because of the upcoming vote?
A few minutes later I called his Greeley office (about 40 minutes north of here). It was after hours, so I got voice mail, as I expected. But the box wasn’t full, so I told them to have DC check the voice mails, and left my message locally instead.
